How does the personalization work?
For each lead in your CSV, Cast launches a browser, visits their website, and records a 12-second screen capture. It then composites your pre-recorded talking head and slides onto this footage to create a unique video. No AI generation, no deepfakes — real screen recordings with your real face.
Do I need a Zoom account?
Yes. Cast sends videos through Zoom Clips, which means each video is hosted on Zoom and sent from your connected Zoom account. This keeps deliverability high since emails come from Zoom's infrastructure, not a cold email tool.
How is this different from AI video tools like Tavus or Potion?
Those tools create synthetic deepfake-style videos — AI-generated faces and voices. Cast uses your real recording composited with real website screenshots. The result looks authentic because it is authentic. No uncanny valley.
What if a prospect's website is behind a login?
Cast captures whatever is publicly visible at the URL. For most B2B websites, the homepage and key pages are public. If a site is entirely gated, Cast will capture the login page — you can exclude these leads from your campaign.
Can I customize what appears in each video?
Yes. You control the slide deck, talking head recording, CTA button text and URL, and the position of your webcam circle. Each video gets a unique website recording but shares your slides and talking head.
